On behalf of Mercy Corps and Global Citizen Corps, we would like to thank everyone who submitted poetry for our recent Poetry Contest.  As you know we received over a thousand poems in the last 3 months!

We have read and reread all the poems, voted, argued and re-voted on which were the best and finally we are pleased to announce the winners! A first, second and third place have been selected as well as 11 honorable mentions. The poems chosen best represent the spirit of Global Citizen Corps and the theme of the contest.
